NOTE FROM ARTIST:
When I read the ‘Songs of Innocence - Introduction’ poem by ‘William Blake, I loved it! It is profound.

I turned the page to see what’s next and... ‘The Shepherd’ transported me back to my childhood in Naples.

Every year we’d have the opportunity to see and hear the ’Zampognari’ musicians, who were really only shepherds. They would come to our neighbourhood and play for donations at Christmas time.

With unkempt outfits, a loud beauty and wailing sounds, they would cast spells, fantasies and emotions on us… and Blake’s words flow in and out time.
